Satisficing
- It is often preferable to settle for a satisfactory solution, rather than pursue an optimal solution.

On the Figure 8.4.1, it is given as satisficing example. Rather than a normal pencil, user have tendencies to satisfy with mechanical pencil. Why? Because mechanical pencil can solve user's problem.
Mechanical pencil has a fix diameter of ballpoint and it does not need any sharpener to make it sharp. Besides, it can be refill with another pencil inks. Furthermore, there is also an eraser provided for user to erase anything mistake during writing. Thus, the time limited problem is solved.
